Institute of Cultural Affairs Nepal donated a Telescope at the 11th Southwestern Science Exhibition and Career in Management -2023 held by Southwestern State College. The exhibition was inaugurated by Dr. Baburam Bhattarai; former Prime Minister of Nepal. The very support was received by Dr. Rajendra KC, Principal of Southwestern State College. 

On behalf of ICA Nepal/Fundraising for NGOs, Ms. Purnima Subba and Mr. Roshan Parajuli emphasized the importance of STEM education. The support was provided as a part of promoting STEM education through secondary schools in Nepal. The workshop was attended by a total of 50 different colleges and many other organizations in Kathmandu. The program included many other programs such as Inter- College Science Exhibition & Competition, Intra- College Science Exhibition & Competition, Inter-School Science Exhibition & Competition, Maze Solving Robot Competition and Aquabot Competition, Medical Checkup, Blood donation program, Eye Checkup Camp, Free Dental Checkup, Voting system by observers, and Solar Observation, and Blood donation. ICA Nepal also wholeheartedly attended the sessions. The organizers and students expressed their gratitude for receiving the support. 

As a part of the global initiative on holistic development, ICA has been operating since 1998 in Nepal. ICA has devoted itself to promoting STEM education in Nepal and has been operating it as one of its core programs, as a part of such programs they have always been keen on supporting needy schools.
