Imagine Nepal organized a Seminar on Appreciative Inquiry Learning and Sharing today in Kathmandu. The seminar was organized by Imagine Nepal in collaboration with ICA Nepal, Online Bahas, Okraland, Fundraising For NGOs, and IIQA. Imagine Nepal is a leading organization in promoting positive thoughts and contributing for the last two decades as the national chapter of a global movement of AI started in the USA.
The seminar focused on exploring the application of Appreciative Inquiry (AI) in various fields. The keynote speakers at the event shed light on the seminar's objectives and the role of Imagine Nepal in promoting AI. They also discussed the current status of AI and its practice in different contexts and boundaries, along with its relationship with Eastern philosophy. Prof. Tatwa P. Timsina, Chairperson of Imagine Nepal, and other members of IN such as Dr. Saroj Dhital, Dr. Dhruba Acharya, Mr. Buddi Tamang, Ms. Anju Bhattarai, Ms. Ishu Subba, Mr. Ashbin Pudasaing, and Mr. Rupendra Maharjan shed light on various aspects of Appreciative Inquiry and Leadership Development.
The seminar comprised plenary sessions on various topics, including advancing positive education, value-based education, livelihood and quality development, community development, effective menstrual hygiene management, eco-tourism, and compassionate leadership development. Paper presentations were also made on topics such as the application of AI in developing a gratitude attitude, rebuilding livelihoods, and promoting quality development. The participants also learned about the use of AI tools in community development and entrepreneurship.
The seminar emphasized the importance of AI in achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and developing compassionate leaders who can positively impact their communities. Overall, the event was a great success in promoting the use of AI for positive change.
